Well today we are at 19 weeks and 3 days. We had our ultrasound today and guess what it is? This pic says it all! It is officially a beautiful little baby girl! Boy was she active. I cannot wait to meet this little girl. We are very excited to start planning out her room. We think we found the "theme" and I will post pictures of that as we get the nursery set up. Anyhow, back to the ultrasound. The tech we had today w
as much more informative than the one we had the first time. Perhaps because she is bigger now, but still, I felt like she actually cared about what she and we were looking at. Such a special moment. She did all her measurements and looking at all of baby's parts when she asked, "Would you like to know the gender?" We said yes. A very nervous Daddy sitting next to me. She put the probe so we could take a look, and I knew the answer right away. It was clear as day. Then she said, "its a girl!" I started crying and Joe was in shock. He could have sworn she would be a he! Mom was excited, but she also thought she was a he. So Dad and I were right. The tech did tell us that she will hardly ever give patients a 100% sure answer, but she said there was no doubt about it

. I think she just wa

nted Joe to stop calling her a boy! She showed him whats
up for sure! She then let us watch baby girl kick around and move around in my tummy. I think she was doing some leg lifts. So cute. We got some 3-d and 4-d images and got FANTASTIC shots of her. I will post those now. She should be quite photogenic. The tech said she normally does not get this great of pictures. I think she was having fun with our little one. Her heart rate was 143 today. In this picture to the left she is hugging her umbilical cord. She apparently likes to keep it around her face. Kinda like how I still sl

eep with my blanket lol. It was hard to
get pictures with it always across her face. Hope it doesn't wrap. That would be scary. Other than that everything looks great. Nothing to be worried about, and everything is right on track.
This week I have been getting a lot more back pain and the heartburn is about to kill me. Note that I do not see ANY hair on this baby's head in these pictures haha. Maybe she will be blonde. Who knows. I just can't wait to meet her. We got her some cute clothes today, just some summer

onesies and Joe picked out a dress for her. I will post pics of that during the 20 week post. I feel like there is so much I could write today, but will save some of it for a few days. I thank everyone who congratulated us today, we love you all and cannot wait to share this little lady with you all. God bless!
Congrats Katy! I wish you, Joe, and baby girl Brown all the best :)
